Rohini ashram sexual assault: CBI register 3 cases against Baba Virendra Dev Dixit
Three cases have been registered against Baba Virendra Dev Dixit by Central Bureau of Investigation.

CBI has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the matter relating to Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidhyalaya Ashram, Rohini, New Delhi on the orders of Delhi High Court.
In December 2017, Indian police raided properties of the Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya, to free hundreds of girls being kept in terrible conditions inside the ashram.
According to reports about 250 women and 48 girls have been released and many of the residents appeared to be drugged.
According to a lawsuit lodged at Delhi's High Court the leader of the group Virendra Dev Dixit has sexually assaulted multiple women and children and keeps residents confined in conditions “worse than farm animals."
CBI was asked by Delhi Commission for women chief Swati Maliwal to conduct raids on all ashram of spiritual leader Virendra Dev Dikshit under the suspicion of human trafficking racket running in many of his ashrams.
Delhi High Court also asked CBI to probe the matter.
Swati Maliwal visited several of Dikshit's ashram and found out that prior to their visit many girls were removed from the ashram, told by locals to her.
An alleged victim had stated that the people in the ashram tried to brainwash the resident girls and women and sexually assaulted them under the pretext of religion.
The family members were also not allowed to meet their girls living in the ashram.
A bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C Hari Shankar has asked the founder of the Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya in North Delhi Rohini to appear before January 4.
