Subramanian Swamy, senior BJP leader has assured the devotees of Lord Ram that they will be able to celebrate next Diwali in Ayodhya.

He said that the construction of Ram Temple will commence soon and it will be complete by next Diwali in October.

He said, "The next Diwali will be celebrated in the newly constructed temple."

He also assured that everything needed for the construction of the Ram temple was ready.

Emphasising that there is no need to make a new law he said that the Narasimha Rao government had issued an affidavit to the Supreme Court which stated that the land will be given to Hindus if it is proven that there was a temple at the place.

He said, "it was just the matter of attaching it like the Swami Narayan Mandir".

Claiming that the existence of the temple was already proven, he was confident of winning the case. He further said that although they can bring the law, it was not needed.

He also said that the Sunni Waqf Board has nothing for rebuttal.
