Rahul, Amit Shah to continue election battle in Karnataka today; Gandhi to visit 2 temples

A day after BJP president Amit Shah addressed sugarcane farmers in Karnataka, he will continue with his election campaign on Monday for the upcoming assembly polls in the state.

Shah is scheduled to address OBC and Maratha leaders today.

Amit Shah will interact with OBC leaders at around 11 am with the Maratha leaders at 6:30 in the evening. 

He will also address a press conference at Gulbarga Hotel Grand at 10 and will inaugurate a women's college hostel at 11.

At 12:30, Shah will make an address at Gulbarga's ESI Auditorium while at 2:30 he will make an address at the Matrichaya Ground. 

At 4:30, he will visit the Anubhava Mantappa in Bidar district's Basavkalyan.

Shah's three-day visit to the poll-bound state started on Saturday, February 24.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi's itinerary for the day meanwhile includes a public meeting at Godchi Temple Ground in Ramdurg and a visit to Shri Yellamma Renuka Devi Temple in Belgaum district.

He will also attend swagat at Ramdurg T. Junction, Village Mundalur, Village Kappa Inamgovan, Village Hooli and Village Inam Mongal.

Gandhi will also attend meeting at Government School Stadium, Saundatti and Nehru Stadium in Hubli.

The state will hold assembly elections in April-May.
