The Supreme Court has asked views of all stakeholders including All Assam Students Union, All Assam Minority Students Union on Centre's sop on Assam's National Register of Citizens(NRC) issue.
India's top court has set August 20th as the date for claims and objection forms to be made available to the public on the NRC row.
The court has directed the NRC coordinator to place before it data of district-wise percentage of the population excluded from final draft of NRC.
The court said that receipt of claim and objection forms from the public on Assam NRC will commence on August 30th.
