However, there is no official announcement or confirmation from the government regarding the PM's trip yet. 

Modi is likely to hold bilateral meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the special meeting, sources said.

This is prime minister's second address at the UNGA. He first addressed the UNGA in September 2014 after he came to power for the first time.
