PM Modi inaugurates Tuirial hydroelectric power project in Mizoram
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a trip to the North-east today addressing rallies and launching a couple of infrastructure projects in Meghalaya and Mizoram.
Earlier today, PM Modi inaugurated the Tuirial hydroelectric power project and addressed a rally in Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram.
While addressing a rally in Mizoram today PM Modi expressed his happiness on visiting the state.

"You don't have to send your grievances to Delhi (central govt), authorities from Delhi will come to you themselves, we have named this policy as Ministry of DONER (Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region)," PM noted.
Besides electricity the reservoir water will also open new avenues for navigation. This will provide connectivity to remote villages. The huge reservoir, spread over an area of 45 square kilometres can also be used for development of fisheries: PM @narendramodi

Prime Minister spoke volumes about encouraging the youth, empowering them, boosting the economic growth of the country and ensuring that fruit of all the hard work and labour reaches everyone.
