Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence(ISI) has formed a group called "Halal Dasta"(killer squad) comprising of banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) to carry out strikes with its Border Action team(BAT) along the LoC, according to Indian intelligence sources.

Last week Pakistan's BAT intruders had attempted to enter Kupwara in Jammu & Kashmir as Indian troops opened fire on them.

At least 7-8 armed BAT intruders attempted to cross over into Keran sector in J&K's Kupwara.

As part of a "new border strategy" the Pakistan establishment intends to use the LeT terrorists in the BAT team to gain moral ascendancy along the Indian border by inflicting heavy causalities on Indian security forces while denying the terror organization's role behind the operation, intelligence sources said.

In fact, the ISI has held meetings with Syeed Salahudeen and representatives of Hizbul in Kotli in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK) to extend jihadi terror operation in India's border areas.

The ISI has directed all terror groups in the Kashmir Valley to attack Indian positions along the border including isolated posts and army bridges, sources said.

Indian intelligence has noticed major terrorist activities along the border in Poonch, Uri, Rajouri, Nowshera and Rampur which has been targeted repeatedly by Pakistan troops across the border.
