Leaders of various opposition parties are expected to attend the oath-taking ceremony of the new governments in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Citing sources news agency ANI said that leaders of various opposition parties including Sharad Pawar, Sharad Yadav, MK Stalin, Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Arvind Kejriwal are expected to show their presence in the swearing in of the new Congress government.

ANI further added that Mamata Banerjee will send a representative in the ceremony as her mother is unwell.

The oath ceremony of the newly elected Congress government in the two states will take place on December 17.

The Congress has appointed Kamal Nath as the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and Ashok Gehlot for Rajasthan.

A similar get together of opposition leaders was seen in the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy.
