On International Women's Day, PM Modi remembers 106-year-old Kunwar Bai from Chhattisgarh
On International Women's Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered 106-year-old Kunwar Bai who had inspired him. The Prime Minister interacted with Bai on his visits to Chhattisgarh.

Bai died at 106 earlier this year and is believed to have left behind stories of her undying commitment toward a cleaner environment.
"Hailing from Chhattisgarh, she sold her goats in order to build toilets. Her contribution towards a Swachh Bharat can never be forgotten. I am deeply inspired by her noble gesture," read PM Modi's tweet.

PM Modi further noted that Bai's deeds live on and that she continues to inspire him and the entire nation.
