5-judge Supreme Court bench to hear Ayodhya case on January 10

The Supreme Court has set up a five-judge constitution bench to hear the Ayodhya case. The bench will be headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and will include Justice SA Bobde, Justice NV Ramana, Justice UU Lalit, Justice DY Chandrachud.

Taliban call off peace talks with US officials

The Taliban on Tuesday cancelled the planned peace talks with the US officials in Qatar over an agenda disagreement.The meeting was cancelled even after the change in the venue of the meet on the demands of the Taliban. The Taliban had earlier demanded a shift in the venue of the talks to Qatar.

German police said Tuesday they have arrested a 20-year-old suspect in the case of private data stolen from hundreds of politicians, including Chancellor Angela Merkel, and published online.
