Narendra Dabholkar murder case: Pune court grants bail to three accused

Accused Amol Kale, was sent to magistrate custody for 14 days in September. 

Pune sessions court on Friday granted bail to three accused in Narendra Dabholkar murder case. According to reports, Amol Kale, Rajesh Bangera and Amit Degvekar were granted bail earlier today as the CBI did not file charge-sheet against them in 90 days period, news agency ANI reported. 

While Bangera and Degvekar are presently in judicial custody with Karnataka SIT in Gauri Lankesh murder case, Amol Kale is with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) team custody which is investigating Govind Pansare murder case.

Kale, was sent to magistrate custody for 14 days, on September 14.

Previously, Sharad Kalaskar, an accused in Narendra Dabholkar murder case, was sent to judicial custody till September 29.

Amol Kale is the prime accused in journalist Gauri Lankesh murder case. The CBI suspects that Kale is also the mastermind of Dabholkar's killing.

Two other accused, Amit Degwekar and Rajesh Bangera, were also sent to magisterial custody earlier, news agency ANI reported.  

Narendra Dabholkar, a Maharashtra-based rationalist, was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants while returning home from a morning walk on August 20, 2013.
