<p>Bangladesh-born Taslima Nasreen, 55, who fled her country after a fundamentalist blacklash over her book Lajja in the 90s, backed Haryana chief minister's move to not to allow namaz in public places.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reacting to the increased number of incidents of disrupting namaz in different areas of Gurugram, <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/namaz-should-be-performed-in-mosques-rather-than-public-spaces-haryana-cm-manohar-lal-khattar--134938">Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar </a>on Saturday said namaz should only be offered in mosques/eidgahs.</p>

<p>Taslima who now lives in Sweden and had spent considerable time in West Bengal spoke out against Nawaz in public places.</p>

<p>Speaking out against the practice of offering Namaz at public places, Taslima Nasreen tweeted: "Namaz should be offered at mosque and Eidgah. &nbsp; Makes sense. &nbsp;Should be applicable for other worshipers too. Blocking public places not good."</p>

Taslima who now lives in Sweden and had spent considerable time in West Bengal spoke out against Nawaz in public places.

Nasreen shared her experiences with both the Hindu and the Muslim fanatics. She recalled the 2007 Fatwa against her and criticised the West Bengal government for not practising true secularism.
