Mumbai's first AC local train will run only over the weekdays with weekends reserved mainly for maintenance.
Eight out of twelve daily services will be operated on the congested Churchgate-Virar (Palghar) route while three services will be run between Churchgate and Borivali.
Train services will halt only at major stations with an exception to one service which will operate between Mahalaxmi and Borivali, halting at all stations.
