Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a fresh attack on prime minister and accused Modi of personally increasing the benchmark price of Rafale jets by 3 billion Euros (Rs. 22,743Cr).
''Another RAFALE Skeleton! Mr Modi personally increased the benchmark price of RAFALE jets by 3 Billion Euros (₹22,743Cr). The former Director of Finance, MOD, just said that he and the negotiating team were overruled by Mr 56,'' Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Congress accused Prime Minister Modi of sabotaging country's interest for the sake of his cronies and alleging he fixed a higher benchmark price for the French fighter jets.
