MK Stalin announce protest demanding full rollback of bus fare hike in Tamil Nadu
DMK working president MK Stalin announced to hold a protest across Tamil Nadu demanding total roll of hiked bus fares on Sunday.

The Tamil Nadu government is under attack from the opposition and commuters over the January 19 hike in fares in which the fares were increased up to 67%.
Protests were reported from various parts of the state condemning fare hike.
However, the government announced a partial rollback in which the fare was reduced by 1 rupees on Sunday
Under the revised structure, fares were reduced up to 20%; the minimum ticket of bus fare would be 4 rupees reduced from 5 rupees and the maximum fare would be 22 rupees reduced from 23 rupees.
State Transport Department issued a notification saying the reduced fares in all the eight State Transport Corporations (STCs) including the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) in Chennai would come into effect from Monday morning.
