Neena Gupta, Masaba have mini-reunion with Sir Vivian Richards to celebrate his birthday

Masaba Gupta flew down to Dubai to meet her father, legendary West Indies cricketer Sir Vivian Richards recently. Masaba's mother, actress Neena Gupta also accompanied her.
 
The fashion designer shared a photo of the reunion that took place in Dubai where the mother-daughter duo celebrated the Viv  Richards' birthday along with his wife.
 
"It’s been a bit astonishing, how short life can be… which is why I dropped every single ‘important’ thing I was doing to come surprise my dad on his birthday today and even had an impromptu family reunion. Missing the husband, though. Happy birthday, dad – I’m really trying to make this emotional, but you’re 66 now & still can’t send a WhatsApp & think a smartphone is the devil incarnate. Slow," Masaba captioned the photo.

Masaba was born out of wedlock to the legendary cricketer and actress Neena Gupta. While the couple separated, Neena Gupta raised Masaba on her own as a single mother. Viv Richards is married Miriam and Neena Gupta married to chartered accountant Vivek Mehra.

Masaba Gupta is married to producer Madhu Matena, who is the co-owner of Phantom Films.
