Lok Sabha polls: BJP's list of star campaigners skips Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday released its list of star campaigners for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. 

According to reports, BJP's star campaigners include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief Amit Shah along with union ministers like Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj.

Interestingly, the party has kept out some of the tallest party leaders and political bigwigs like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi out from its list of 40 star campaigners. 

Meanwhile, the party is all set to launch its Lok Sabha election campaign in Bihar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar on July 2, party sources said on Monday. He is expected to address election rallies in Jamui and Gaya.

Before PM's visit, party chief Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Bihar on March 29.
