Modi responds to criticism that GDP has fallen consecutively over the last six quarters. Says during 6 years of the previous government, there were eight instances when GDP was at or below 5.7 %

There are some people who sleep well only after they spread a feeling of pessimism

Prime Minister Modi is responding to critics of his government. 

The cash to GDP has come to has come down to 9 per cent after demonetisation, said Modi.

Earlier, he said, it was 12 per cent.
