BJP, which fell short of six seats to get a majority in 90-member Haryana Assembly, stitched an alliance with Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) which won10 seats, BJP also managed to get the support of seven independent MLAs.
Manohar Lal Khattar and Dushyant Chautala took oath as chief minister and deputy CM respectively at Raj Bhavan on Sunday after sealing an alliance following a hung verdict in the assembly polls.
BJP working president JP Nadda, former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Sukhbir Singh Badalamong others were also present during the oath-taking ceremony.
No other minister took an oath of office today.
