INX Media case: Karti Chidambaram seeks interim relief from Delhi High Court

Karti Chidambaram has moved the Delhi High Court seeking interim relief in the INX Media money laundering case.

The move has come after the special CBI court had extended his custody by three more days. 

The investigating agency had said that new revelations have come up and his custodial interrogation was necessary to confront him with the new facts.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had on March 6 refused to grant him interim relief in the case. 

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for March 9. 

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram was arrested on February 28 from Chennai Airport in connection with the INX Media money laundering case.
