Kangana Ranaut's look as Rani Laxmibai from the sets of Manikarnika has piqued our curiosity

Kangana Ranaut's latest photo from the sets of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has just made us more impatient. Dressed in white and gold, Ranaut looks like a regal warrior princess. 

The actress is currently shooting for the film in Jaipur. The photo appears to have been clicked on the sets of the film and was shared by one of Ranaut's fan clubs on Instagram.  

The actress has been undergoing training to play Rani Jhansi for quite some time now. She had recently got injured while filming a sword fight sequence and received 15 stitches on her forehead.
  
Directed by K Vijayendra Prasad, who has written films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali series, the film is a biopic on the princess who died fighting the British army. Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi also stars television actress Ankita Lokhande and Masaan actress Shweta Tripathi. It is scheduled to release in April 2018.

Earlier, a sketch of the actress dressed in her character had done the rounds of the internet.  

Kangana Ranaut's last release Simran won critical appreciation but did not work at the Box Office.
