JNU fines four students for cooking biryani on campus

Jawaharlal Nehru University authority has fined four students for cooking biryani on campus. 

The students have been fined between Rs 6000 and 10,000, PTI reported.

The authorities say the students violated rules because they cooked the biryani in the administrative block. 

The alleged biryani cooking happened in June. 

The students have been given 10 days to pay their fines. 

And the JNU authorities have warned of stringent action should they fail to do so.
