The letter accessed by WION reads, 'chatter floating by a Pakistani number claims that Pakistan MI (military intelligence) and ISI agents operation in Kashmir are planning to mix poison in ration stocks of security forces deployed in the region.'

A note issued by the criminal investigation department of the Jammu and Kashmir government has alerted security agencies against a possible threat to security forces deployed in Kashmir.

The intel note has cautioned security agencies against Pak Military Intelligence and Inter-Services Intelligence agents' plan of poisoning the ration of security forces deployed in Kashmir.

The letter accessed by WION reads, “chatter floating by a Pakistani number claims that Pakistan MI (military intelligence) and ISI agents operation in Kashmir are planning to mix poison in ration stocks of security forces deployed in the region”. This has got forces worried and on alert.

The note comes over a fortnight after the deadly Pulwama attack which was carried out by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Authorities have now asked forces to ensure the security of ration depots of all camps. They have also suggested checking the ration being moved to Kashmir to ensure the safety for forces operation in Jammu and Kashmir.
