J&K: 4 cricketers stand for Pakistan national anthem, arrested

Four cricketers were arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district for allegedly lining up when Pakistan's national anthem was played before the start of a cricket match on Sunday. 

A video of the same went viral on social media, showing the players conduct in Arin village before the start of the match.

A complaint has been registered and Police said they are looking for the organisers of the match who arranged the shooting of the video.

However, it is still not clear why the Pakistan national anthem was played. 

Earlier In 2016, a video with similar incident went viral showing local cricketers lined-up to salute Pakistan's national anthem before the start of a match in Ganderbal district.

Police had arrested some youths but they were let off after assurances from the parents.
