<p>Voting is underway for 17 seats in the third phase of Assembly elections in Jharkhand. The poll-bound districts are Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Chatra, Giridih, Bokaro and Saraikela-Kharsawan.</p>

<p>Overall, in this phase, 309 candidates are in the fray&nbsp;for 17 constituencies. Out of the 17 seats, two are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates and one for Schedules Tribe (ST) candidates.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The next two rounds of the five-phase election will be conducted on December 16 and December 20 and the counting of votes will be held on December 23.&nbsp;</p>
