Voting is underway for 17 seats in the third phase of Assembly elections in Jharkhand. The poll-bound districts are Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Chatra, Giridih, Bokaro and Saraikela-Kharsawan.
Overall, in this phase, 309 candidates are in the fray for 17 constituencies. Out of the 17 seats, two are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates and one for Schedules Tribe (ST) candidates.

Earlier, voting for the first two rounds was held on November 30 and December 7.
The next two rounds of the five-phase election will be conducted on December 16 and December 20 and the counting of votes will be held on December 23.
