Jet Airways female staffer held for smuggling Rs 3.2 crore
A female staffer of Jet Airways was arrested after Rs 3.2 crore, in US dollars, were recovered from her, wrapped in a foil.
The raid was conducted by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence after information that a crew member was carrying the money on a Delhi-Hong Kong flight.
"US Dollars valued at Rs. 3.21 crore recovered from a lady crew member of a Hong Kong-bound Jet Airways flight last night at the Indira Gandhi International airport," said the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in a statement on Monday.

Initial investigation suggests the woman was part of an elaborate scheme to bring back gold to the country in exchange for black money.
It is also found that the crew member used to get one per cent of the total money smuggled.
Confirming the arrest, Jet Airways said it would take action based on the investigations and inputs from law enforcement agencies.
