6 jawans killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh
Six jawans have been killed in an IED blast in Chattsigarh.
ANI reported that the IED blast was set off by a police vehicle. And that 3 of the jawans were from the Chhattisgarh Armed Force and two from District Force.
That toll has now gone up to six.
The blast occurred in Dantewada district's Cholnar village.
"6 jawans dead, 1 injured according to preliminary investigation. Search operation is being held by security forces. Blast could be of high intensity, but the exact details will come after the investigation," Sunder Raj P, DIG Anti-Naxal Operations, said.
ANI added that CRPF soldiers have been rushed to the spot.
