Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists shoot dead civilian in Sopore

Unknown terrorists shot dead a youth in Bomai village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

IGP Kashmir said “terrorists fired upon 25-year-old Danish Manzoor. Family members of the victim rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A police official said that unknown terrorists this evening fired upon one Danish Nazir Najar near Edipora Bomai in Zainageer, when he was on his way to his home injuring him critically. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. 

A source said that Danish was a driver by profession. 

Meanwhile, police and army rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area to nab the attackers. A search is underway.
