<p>On May 11, a policeman lost his life in a militant attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district.</p>

<p>Constable Shamim Ahmad was reported injured when militants opened fire at a guard post in Wadwan village in the valley. Shamim was moved to the nearest hospital but succumbed to injuries.</p>
