According to reports, terrorists hurled a grenade at a police station in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Tuesday. No loss of life or damage has been reported.

The area has been cordoned off and further details are awaited.

The attack came barely a day after three army personnel were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district. The blast occurred between Sugan and Chillipora area of Shopian district.

On Monday, militants attacked police picket guarding a house in Anantnag. The attack was repulsed by the alert sentry.

ANI reported that terrorists opened fire at the home guard of PDP leader and Ex-Minister Peer Hussain in Achabal, Anantnag. 

"A residential guard was attacked by terrorists at Thajiwara in Anantnag. The alert sentry retaliated the fire," a police spokesperson noted.
