Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorist killed in Budgam encounter affiliated to Jaish-e-Mohammed

The terrorist who was killed on Friday in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam has been identified as a Pakistani national called Zarar, news agency ANI reported.
As per reports, the slain terrorist was affiliated to Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Security forces have recovered arms and ammunition and a case has been registered.

The encounter broke out in the early morning today after a cordon and search operation was launched by security forces in Kralpora Checkpora area.
During the search operation, the hiding terrorists fired on the search party of the forces and it was retaliated.
The spokesperson said with efforts of police and security forces, it was a clean operation and no collateral damage took place during the exchange of fire.
