One civilian was injured on Monday morning when Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Nowshera sector in Rajouri district.

"The Indian Army is retaliating in a befitting manner," said officials.

The injured civilian was identified as Ram Swaroop. He was shifted to Nowshera hospital.

On Saturday, two Army personnel were injured in Pakistani firing in the district's Romali Dhara area of Nowshera sector.
