INX Media case: Karti Chidambaram moves Supreme Court to challenge CBI probe
Karti Chidambaram has moved the Supreme Court seeking to quash the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate. Karti, son of senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, mentioned in his writ that he has been in compliance with the investigating proceedings.

Chidambaram also noted that the ED and the CBI are looking into matters unrelated to investment in INX Media and are trying to involve him into matters that are not mentioned in the FIR lodged by the CBI.
Karti Chidambaram faces charges in connection with alleged irregularities in Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance to INX Media. The company received an investment worth about Rs 305 crore approved by the FIPB in 2007 when Karti's father P Chidambaram was the finance minister.
