INX Media case: Karti Chidambaram to be confronted with Indrani Mukerjea in Mumbai

Karti Chidambaram will be brought face to face with Indrani Mukerjea and Peter Mukerjea, separately.

The special CBI court had earlier allowed the CBI to arrest Indrani Mukerjea in INX media case.
The Enforcement Directorate has registered a case against INX Media, its founder Peter Mukerjea and his wife Indrani under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The Mukerjeas are currently facing a trial in Mumbai for conspiring to kill Sheena Bora, Indrani's daughter from an earlier marriage, in April 2012.
Chidambaram is on a five-day police custody and will be produced in the court on March 6.
In a court hearing on Wednesday, the CBI had claimed on having documents which prove clear links of Karti Chidambaram and various companies.
Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram was arrested on February 28 from Chennai Airport in connection with the INX Media money laundering case.
