Indian Coast Guard helicopter did not crash, made hard landing in Maharashtra
The Indian Coast Guard helicopter had made a hard landing 160 km south of Mumbai at around 2:30 pm on Saturday.
The helicopter was initially reported to have crashed in Raigad district's Murud's Nandgaon in Maharashtra.
An Indian Navy Seaking helicopter which was sent to provide cover to the Coast Guard helicopter along with a medical team onboard has found the helicopter and the four crew members.
All the four crew members of the helicopter are rescued and flown back to the Naval Hospital INHS Asvini at Mumbai.
An ICG lady pilot has suffered injuries and was being treated.
