<p>Over hundreds&nbsp;of&nbsp;doctors staged a&nbsp;protest against the National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill 2017 in Delhi on March 25.</p>

<p>The protest called the &quot;mahapanchayat rally&quot;&nbsp;was organised at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi.</p>

<p>Organised on the grounds of &quot;no work day&quot;, the protest was held under the banner of Indian Medical Association.</p>

<p>The doctors protested against the NMC bill which seeks to allow traditional and Ayurveda medical practitioners to practice modern medicine after completing a short-term &quot;bridge&quot; course while the MBBS doctors are required to go through an exit test and an internship, in addition,to their four years degree to become eligible for the&nbsp;certified&nbsp;medical degree.&nbsp;</p>
