Mohammad Hanif, father of slain rifleman Aurangzeb, on Tuesday, reacted to the ongoing controversy around Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu's recent Pakistan visit.

"Sidhu Saab met Pak Army Chief, I think he (Pak Army Chief) should also meet us," Hanif said.

Hanif stated if Pak PM Imran Khan takes one step, the people on the Indian side will take 100 steps. He also requested PM Modi to meet Pakistan's newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan.

"There should be such an understanding between the two countries that no person should be killed and both the countries should develop," Hanif noted.

Hanif's son, rifleman Aurangzeb, was abducted and killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on June 14.

According to reports, Aurangzeb was on his way to join his family on the occasion of Eid when the militants intercepted the private vehicle carrying the soldier.
