Hyderabad: Man thrashes wife for switching off wifi

A Hyderabad man lost his cool and allegedly thrashed his wife for switching off the wifi router of their house.

As per media reports, the woman was miffed with her husband being busy on the phone at night, and therefore she switched off the router.

In anger, the accused landed blows on the woman's face and other parts of the body.

Hearing her cries, the family members rushed to her rescue and took her to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The woman received serious injuries, forcing her grandmother to lodge a complaint with the police. 

Further investigation is underway and no arrest has been made so far.
