High Court seeks reply from Delhi govt, LG on Chief secretary Anshu Prakash's plea
The Delhi High Court has issued notice to Lieutenant governor, Delhi Government, Privileges Committee and Question and Answer Committee of Delhi Assembly to respond to a petition filed by Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.
Chief secretary Anshu Prakash had filed a plea challenging a notice of the Delhi Assembly.
The Question and Reference Committee of Delhi Assembly had recommended privilege proceedings against the chief secretary for contempt of House on February 21 after he skipped the meeting called by the committee.
The Delhi court seeks a reply from the authorities within two weeks.
The matter of the case will be heard on April 11.
