Incumbent chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that they would meet the Governor tomorrow in Chandigarh to stake claim to form the government in the state.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) on Friday sealed an alliance to form the government in Haryana where the recent assembly polls threw a hung assembly. 

Incumbent chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that they would meet the Governor tomorrow in Chandigarh to stake claim to form the government in the state.

''We will meet the Governor tomorrow in Chandigarh to stake claim to form the govt in state,'' said Khattar. 

BJP-JJP alliance for Haryana sealed, reported news agency ANI.

BJP will retain the chief minister post while deputy CM will be from JJP, the report added. 

Leaders of both the parties will meet the Governor tomorrow and stake their claim to form the government in the state.

''To give a stable government in the state it was important for BJP & JJP to come together. I would like to thank Amit Shah and Nadda. Our party had decided that for the betterment of the state it is important to have a stable government,'' said Dushyant Chautala, JJP leader.

''Accepting the mandate by the people of Haryana, leaders of both parties (BJP-JJP) have decided that BJP-JJP will form the government together, in Haryana,'' said Home Minister and BJP President, Amit Shah.
