<p>The Supreme Court Monday slammed the Centre over its inability to stop encroachment in Delhi.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The&nbsp;court asked the centre to ensure that the protest against sealing should stop.</p>

<p>calling it a complete breakdown of law and order in Delhi the apex court said that it was a serious issue and the failure of the authorities has led to such a situation.</p>

<p>It also questioned the Additional Solicitor General (ASG) appearing for the Centre saying that the Centre can not just go on destroying Delhi.</p>

<p>The court further said that the government and its bodies were not doing their job because of which the people of Delhi were suffering.</p>

<p>The court further lashed the Centre saying " Is this the way you are playing with the lives of the people of Delhi?"</p>
