Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma's Mumbai reception: Ranbir Kapoor recreates 'Ae Dil Hai Muskhil' with the newlyweds

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's reception in Mumbai was a gala event. With Bollywood stars, cricketers and industrialists hobnobbing in the crowd, the event was a starry affair. 

From Shah Rukh Khan to Sridevi to Madhuri Dixit to Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni- all were in attendance to wish the couple. 

Perhaps the photo of the evening was of Virat and Anushka posing with actor Ranbir Kapoor. Kapoor and Sharma have worked together in Bombay Velvet and the recent Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The duo are known to be good friends and when the news of Virushka's wedding broke, Twitter exploded with memes around Ranbir Kapoor and song Channa Mereya. 

So on Tuesday night, as Ranbir walked up to wish the newlyweds, the three recreated the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil signature pose much to the delight of the shutterbugs. In the photo Virat is all heart with Ranbir, Anushka continues to ‘friendzone’ him like she did in the film.
