'Sanju' trailer: Ranbir Kapoor plays many shades of Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's film

It is finally out! After weeks of teasing fans with posters of the film, the makers released the trailer of 'Sanju' on Wednesday afternoon. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, the film will highlight the ups and downs of the controversial stars life. 

The scale is massive and the film stars a gamut of Bollywood actors playing important roles in the film which is being headlined by Ranbir Kapoor. The trailer indicates that the film is spread across four decades- from the time Dutt made his debut in Rocky to his time spent in jail till 2016. It will highlight the good, bad and ugly side of Dutt's dramatic life. 

Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala play Dutt's parents Sunil and Nargis Dutt while Dia Mirza plays his wife Manyata. The film also features Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh, Boman Irani and Anushka Sharma.

The film is produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra and is slated to release on 29th June.
