Rihanna: I’m not built like Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie

Pop star Rihanna hit back at trollers and all those who body shamed her with positivity.

In an interview with a leading fashion magazine, Rihanna revealed how she keeps a positive attitude about her herself, even under the constant public glare. 

While discussing body shaming incidents she has faced personally, Rihanna spoke of her sense of humour that keeps her going.

She revealed, “You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly,” she said. “I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies.”

The pop star recently launched her own lingerie line in association with her makeup and beauty label called Savage x Fenty. A champion for diversity and inclusivity of all sizes, Rihanna said, “I’m not built like Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”

Her makeup label, Fenty Beauty was named a TIME “Best Invention” of 2017 and has received rave reviews for its wide range of shades for all skin tones.
