Bollywood's versatile actress Rani Mukerji announced her return on the silver screen after a gap of four years with Hichki on December 19, 2017.

With an invigorating trailer launch, the true Queen of Bollywood made waves starring as a teacher with a speech disorder. In medical terms, she is shown suffering from Tourette's Syndrome -- a neuropsychiatric disorder that manifests itself in motor or vocal tics. The trailer shows Mukerji trying to conquer the disorder even as she is given a difficult set of children to teach.

Received well by the audience, the trailer announced that the film will release on February 23 but just today, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that Hichki has been postponed owing to board exams of 10th and 12th standard school kids.

Taran wrote: "#Hichki shifted ahead... Will release on 23 March 2018... Reason: Having evoked positive reactions during the private screenings, the marketing/distribution team of YRF convinced Aditya Chopra that the movie should release post exams... Hence 23 March 2018... Stars Rani Mukerji."

This would mean that there would be no clash between films Hichki and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which is also scheduled to release on February 23.
