Priya Prakash Varrier, internet's latest crush, now creates record on Instagram

Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier has more good news coming her way. 

After grabbing headlines for her expressions in a love song titled Manikya Malaraya Poovi from the Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love, she has now become the third celebrity to make this record on Instagram. 

She created a record for the third highest gain of Instagram followers in a single day -- with 606 thousand followers on Monday. 

She comes after only American model and TV personality Kylie Jenner (806 thousand) and footballer Christiano Ronaldo (650 thousand). 

This is owing to the growing popularity of the song's video where she playfully interacts with a boy who has a crush on her -- using just her facial expressions, especially her eyes.
