Mr India director Shekhar Kapur writes an emotional tribute to Sridevi

Bollywood fraternity has gone in a state of shock ever since news of veteran actor Sridevi dying a sudden death has come to fore. 

Known for her versatile acting and maintaining a good relationship with previous directors, Sridevi is said to have left a void in the entertainment industry. 

Remembering the style icon, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur who directed Sridevi in Mr India wrote a heartfelt and emotional tribute to the entertainer. 

He took to Instagram to miss those days of directing her and regrets not making a sequel to hit film Mr India. Shekhar wrote: "It's unbelievable that you passed. Unexpected, sudden and shocking. It shook us all. We were waiting for Mr India 2! Honestly .. that film should have been made by now.." while adding: "I remember when everyone was going at me for a film that was threatening to fall apart .. you fought for me like a tigress. You were so loyal to your Directors."
