Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor to reunite on big screen after 17 long years

They ruled the big screen in the late 80s and early '90s. The pair has delivered a number of blockbuster hits together and now Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor are all set to come together on the big screen for a film. The two stalwarts will be seen together after 17 long years in a film called Total Dhamal-the third installment in the Dhamaal series. 

The film will be helmed by Indra Kumar who also worked with the pair in Beta. " Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have been paired in Total Dhamaal which goes on the floors in January in Mumbai. However, this film is essentially a comedy so don’t expect any 'Dhak Dhak' but I promise 'total dhamaal'. Anil and Madhuri have always been a great pair to work with and getting them together again is a dream," the director told Mumbai Mirror. 

The filmmaker is looking for Diwali 2018 release but it would only be confirmed once a studio is roped in to present the film. 

For those who have grown up watching the hit pair's film through their childhood, Total Dhamaal will the film to watch out for next year. The film will also stars star Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jafferi apart from Anil and Madhuri.
