Luv Ranjan's "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" has proven to be a dark horse -- dethroning Akshay Kumar's PadMan to become the second highest grosser of 2018.

While the audience has been appreciating the film -- its songs and the male vs female banter that goes on in the film, Kartik Aaryan who plays the central character in the film has earned a lot of flak for portraying a focused sexist and a misogynist by many reviewers and critics.

To this, Kartik reacts as a win for his acting. Speaking of being judged as a misogynist, he said, "I don’t fear being judged as a misogynist. Because that’s my character Sonu they are judging, not me, Thankfully the audience is flocking to see the film without getting judgmental about the gender equations in the film. Would I do another ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety? I’d do it as many times as Luv Ranjan wants me to."

Talking about the love that his film has got, Kartik said, “More than my own happiness it’s my mother’s happiness that makes me happy. I was with my mother at a mall when our car was suddenly surrounded by people. Initially, she loved seeing her son getting mobbed. Then the crowds started swelling and they began to push and shove and tilt the car. My mom’s joy turned into anxiety." and added, “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the attention. I’ve waited long for this. I now have an insane number of scripts to read. The offers are juicy and tempting. But I intend to move forward carefully. I don’t want to get carried away.”

"Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety", a story of bromance vs romance as most put it has already earned Rs 86.76 crores in its third week, surpassing the collections of Akshay Kumar starrer Padman which has earned Rs 81 crores overall.

Now, "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" makers have decided to make a film on urban relationships starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
