Kareena Kapoor to star in Ashutosh Gowarikar's next?

We haven't seen Kareena Kapoor on the big screen for a long time now. The actress who was last seen in Ki and Ka in 2016, had gone on a maternity break after the release of the film. The actress, post the birth of her son Taimur, shot for Veere Di Wedding which will be her first release post maternity break. 

While fans are waiting with baited breath for the release of Veere Di Wedding, here is a piece of news that will surely bring joy to fans of the actress. 

News has it that Kareena Kapoor is in talks with filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar for his next project. Media reports suggest that the talks have reached an advanced stage and Kareena might just give her nod to the project which is said to be a Hindi remake of Marathi film Aapla Manus. 

Aapla Manus featured Nana Patekar, Iravati Harshe and Sumeet Raghavan in the leading roles. 

While there is no official word on Gowarikar's project yet, sources close to the director state that he will be making an announcement soon. 

Meanwhile, Kareena is excited about the release of Veere Di Wedding, which is being termed as a chick flick. The film is set to release on June 1, 2018, and stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania along with Kareena Kapoor.
